A story is what it's like to be a human being, to be knocked down, and to miraculously arise...We do rise."

What We Do:
These creative (and FREE) workshops are dedicated to honoring ourselves and our communities through storytelling**. We'll gather together, work with inspiring artists and facilitators to get our hands and minds moving, and share our stories, our art, and our voices together in groups. We hope some of you will want to share your stories directly or indirectly (remain anonymous) in a StorySlam event!
*What do we mean by Women?

**What do we mean by storytelling?
Whether you already have a story in mind, or need help unearthing the voice within you, you and your story are welcome here and belong here no matter what your previous storytelling experience is. Writers, drawers, makers, cookers, listeners, friends--we all have ways of expressing ourselves. These workshops will give you tools and opportunities to express your story in new ways.
